Powerful infeed beaters together with an efficient five-blades rotor provide good results in most conditions.
The discharge chute is operated via the worm gear using a hydraulic engine which also ensures that the tube is locked in the desired working position. With worm gear, rotation will not be affected if ice is formed on the worm wheel.
In the picture the protective plate over the worm gear is screwed off.
