Boom mower with up to 5.4 m reach and high flexibility
The Trejon Optimal M1650 Storm PRO is a powerful boom mower designed to meet high demands for reach, flexibility, and efficient vegetation control. It can handle complete ditch maintenance, including back slopes, as well as vertical cutting with high precision. The cutting head is fully hydraulically driven via a dedicated hydraulic system, ensuring full performance in all working positions.
New geometry for extended working range
The machine features an updated geometry combining a parallelogram with a telescopic arm, providing a large working range and a total reach of up to 5.4 meters from the tractor’s center.
The cutting head includes a built-in float function in the direction of travel, ensuring smooth ground following and consistent results.
Independent hydraulic system for full performance
The hydraulic system consists of an axial piston pump and motor, along with a 160-liter oil tank positioned as a counterweight. An oil cooler is included as standard.
This system ensures that the cutting head maintains full functionality regardless of position and allows operation on back slopes as well as continuous work up to 90° vertically.
Robust design for demanding conditions
With more than 20 years of experience, this model builds on the proven M1650 platform. The cutting head is made entirely of Hardox® steel and the machine is equipped with a hydraulic breakaway system that lifts the unit when encountering obstacles.
High ground clearance improves operation along guardrails, fences, and similar obstacles, while effectively shredding vegetation to reduce regrowth.
Easy operation and low maintenance
The machine is operated via an electro-proportional joystick from the cab and connects easily via PTO and hydraulics with pressure and free return. The design with few moving parts ensures easy servicing and low maintenance costs.
