Flexible chain cutter with up to 5.4 m reach Trejon presents the Trejon Optimal M1650 Storm – a chain cutter developed to meet the market's increased demands for reach and flexible movement pattern.
The machine is designed to effectively cut entire ditches, including back slopes, and for high vertical screening clearance. The chain head is operated entirely hydraulically via a separate hydraulic system, ensuring full function in all working positions.
Trejon has over 20 years of experience in the development and production of chainsaws, and the M1650 Storm builds on the proven predecessor M1650. The design includes, among other things, a chain head made entirely of Hardox steel and a collision protection that automatically lifts the machine when it folds back over obstacles.
New geometry for increased reach and freedom of movement The M1650 Storm is equipped with a new geometry that provides a larger movement pattern and a total reach of up to 5.4 meters from the center of the tractor. The proven parallelogram solution closest to the tractor has been supplemented with a telescope in the stick, which provides both improved reach and increased flexibility in work.
The cutting head is equipped with a built-in float position in the direction of travel for smooth and compliant ground following. Hydraulic operation and control.
The machine's four functions – parallelogram, lifting, telescope and head tilt – are controlled via direct-acting hydraulics. This provides a robust and reliable solution with good precision in all working positions.
The chain head can be angled for work on a back slope and work continuously up to 90 degrees vertically. The own hydraulic system consists of an axial piston pump and hydraulic motor and a 160 liter oil tank, positioned as a counterweight for optimal balance.
An oil cooler is mounted on the tank as standard. Thanks to high-quality components and high system pressure, high efficiency and good effect are achieved at the head. The service hatch is operated manually as standard. Hydraulic operation of the service hatch is available as an option.
Built for demanding clearing work The Trejon Optimal M1650 Storm is developed for demanding work in varying terrain. The robust construction makes it well suited for clearing in ditches and other sly areas, where tree debris and sly are effectively broken up to reduce regrowth.
The high ground clearance at the joint between the boom and the stick makes it easier to work along road barriers, lower fences and hedges. The machine is easily connected to the tractor via a power take-off shaft and hydraulics with pressure and free return. The well-thought-out design with few moving parts contributes to easy service and low maintenance costs.
