In the picturesque village of Nås in Västerdalarna, Ronny Grönberg has been running Grönbergs AB since 2009 – a company where the seasons set the pace. During winter, snow clearing and anti-skid services are the main focus, and Trejon’s diagonal ploughs have become a key part of the operation.
Background
Grönbergs AB offers services that follow the natural rhythm of the seasons. During summer, the company mainly works with mowing, while winter is dedicated to snow clearing and road maintenance on forest roads.
An important part of the winter equipment is Trejon’s diagonal ploughs, which Ronny Grönberg speaks about with great enthusiasm.
Experience of the plough
“In the winter of 2017, I started thinking about getting a new plough and tested several different brands,” Ronny explains.
“In the end, I chose Trejon’s diagonal plough. Some of the advantages are the cutting angle of the blade, how well it lifts the snow, and how smoothly it runs.”
Ronny’s colleague Anton also highlights how the plough’s efficiency and smooth operation not only make snow clearing easier, but also contribute to significant fuel savings.
“The plough runs very smoothly, which saves a lot of fuel. That’s good – it makes the boss happy,” says colleague Anton with a smile.
A second plough was the obvious choice
After using Trejon’s diagonal plough for several seasons, Ronny decided to expand the fleet with an additional diagonal plough from Trejon.
“We needed another plough because the amount of work increased. We chose the same model partly because we’ve been very satisfied with the one we already have, and partly because it’s good value for money. My colleague Anton likes it too, which also influenced the decision,” Ronny explains.
Ready for future winters
With two diagonal ploughs from Trejon, Grönbergs AB is well prepared to continue meeting the challenges of winter.
“Now we’re moving forward with new assignments using our Trejon ploughs – and hoping for more snow,” Ronny concludes with a smile.
