In the forest, demands on equipment are high. It needs to be strong, flexible and reliable – day after day. For Bengt Andersson, who works with contract sawing and timber transport, the trailer is a crucial part of his daily operation.

“Today we have been out collecting a load of timber in the forest that we will saw for customers – contract sawing. Today it was mostly spruce and pine, but most often we saw a lot of beech, ash, oak and elm,” Bengt explains.

The work varies from day to day, both in terms of timber species and forest conditions. This places high demands on both equipment and functionality.

A trailer that delivers

When it was time to upgrade his equipment, Bengt made a well-considered decision. After testing several alternatives, he chose a trailer that quickly proved its value in daily work.

“I had tried a few other brands, and then I have a contact at a sales company here, so I looked at this one. This was the one I fell for. I’ve had it for a year now. I am very, very satisfied.”

Stability, strength and flexibility in the forest

After a year of use, it is above all the trailer’s design and driving characteristics that Bengt highlights. In forest work, it is crucial that the trailer follows the terrain and handles challenging conditions.

“Compared to other brands I’ve had, this one is very robust and well balanced. It’s very flexible in the forest thanks to the long drawbar, and it follows stones, stumps and trees – good ground clearance. So it’s a very good trailer in that sense.”

Features that make a real difference

Often, it is the details that determine how efficient everyday work becomes. For Bengt, the articulated steering is a feature he would not want to be without.

“You can fold it around trees, and that’s very good.”

The support legs also contribute to stability and safety during loading and unloading.

“They are very good because they go down deep if needed, so they always find something solid to stand on.”

The hydraulics and crane are further examples of thoughtful engineering that make everyday work smoother.

“Thanks to the lightweight package, it works very well. It’s strong and smooth.”

Built to last

One of the first things Bengt noticed was the trailer’s robust construction, something that immediately created confidence.

“What caught my attention right away was how strong it is. And especially the tower, built like this. I don’t know what you would have to do to break it – and that really appeals to me.”

An investment for the future

After one year in the forest, Bengt is looking forward to many more – a clear sign of a successful investment.

“I’m looking forward to many great years with this trailer before I go to Joakim and upgrade to a new one just like it!”
