“Strong, simple, reliable” – why the M1250H became the obvious choice for Björkstadens Entreprenad

When the forest roads needed clearing ahead of the season, Björkstadens Entreprenad decided to invest in a new type of chain cutter. The result was a stronger, simpler, and significantly more maintenance-free workday. Discover why the Trejon Optimal M1250H has quickly become one of the company’s most valued tools.

Ahead of the 2023 season, Björkstadens Entreprenad invested in a Trejon Optimal M1250H – a chain cutter that quickly proved to be efficient, robust, and time-saving in demanding terrain. Machine operator Alfred Åkebo shares how the new equipment has improved both workflow and results.

The right equipment for demanding terrain

When the need arose to upgrade their equipment, the Trejon Optimal M1250H became the natural choice. Its fully hydraulic drive eliminates belt changes and reduces maintenance – saving both time and frustration.

“Choosing Trejon was an easy decision because it’s completely hydraulically driven. No belts or anything you need to adjust or tighten.” – Alfred Åkebo

For Alfred, the hydraulic system means a more reliable tool and far less downtime.

Smart design that simplifies work around poles

One of the machine’s greatest strengths is the pointed rear shape of the cutting head, making it easy to work close to poles and in tight areas – something that is often a challenge when clearing brush.

“The rear of the cutter is shaped more like a point. That’s an advantage when working around poles, such as engine-heater posts – you can get much closer.” – Alfred Åkebo

Built to last

The Trejon Optimal M1250H is constructed for long service life and tough conditions. The cutting head rests on heavy-duty wear plates, ensuring that wear occurs where it should – on replaceable components rather than on the head itself.

“It sits on a pair of strong wear plates. That means the head doesn’t wear down – the wear plates take the beating instead.” – Alfred Åkebo

Easy chain handling for different vegetation

Work varies depending on vegetation density, and Alfred appreciates the ability to quickly switch chain sizes as needed.

“When we clear finer brush, we use a 10 mm chain. For thicker brush, we switch to 13 mm. They’re easy to replace.” – Alfred Åkebo

Ready for more seasons

After an entire summer of use, Alfred is very satisfied. The machine has proven strong, stable, and reliable – and he’s already looking forward to operating it next season.

“I’ve used it almost the whole summer now, and it’s strong and reliable. I’m already looking forward to using it again next season.” – Alfred Åkebo

With the Trejon Optimal M1250H, Björkstadens Entreprenad has not only streamlined their workflow – they have also created better long-term conditions for efficient and productive brush clearing.
