The Trejon Optimal DS1400 is a flexible and high-capacity disc spreader designed for spreading sand, salt, and gravel. It is built for efficient winter maintenance on both smaller and larger areas, offering increased capacity and broader application range than entry-level models.
Wide spreading for fast and efficient coverage
The disc spreader delivers a wide and even spreading pattern, allowing large areas to be covered quickly. Spreading rate and width are steplessly and independently adjusted via rear control valves.
Higher hydraulic flow for larger machines
The DS1400 is designed for oil flows between 40–120 l/min, making it suitable for a wider range of carriers, including larger machines.
Simple operation and flexible control
The spreader is powered via a double-acting hydraulic outlet. The spreading angle is mechanically adjusted as standard, with optional hydraulic adjustment for increased comfort.
Enhanced control with intelligent systems
The spreader can be equipped with Control-Eco or Control-Plus:
- Control-Eco enables adjustment of spreading rate and width from the cab
- Control-Plus automatically adjusts the spreading rate based on driving speed and provides full operational data, including material usage, distance, and area
Efficient loading and improved economy
With optional linkage and hydraulic top link, the spreader can be made self-loading. This reduces the need for additional machines and improves overall efficiency.
Robust construction for long service life
The DS1400 is built with durable materials, including a stainless steel spreading disc and components. It is sandblasted, zinc-primed, and double powder-coated for maximum durability.
