Power, Capacity and Full Control – How the SP3500 Streamlines Winter Operations
When workloads are heavy and coverage areas are large, you need a solution that delivers efficiency and reliable performance. Follow us into the field and hear how Linus Stenlund at Kaj Johanssons Åkeri uses the Trejon Optimal SP3500 to work faster, more evenly, and more cost-effectively.
When winter demands fast and reliable anti-slip operations, you need equipment that delivers – every single day. For Kaj Johanssons Åkeri, the Trejon Optimal SP3000 is an essential part of the daily work on roads, properties, and railway platforms.
Large Capacity That Saves Time
The Trejon Optimal SP3000 is the largest model in the range and is designed for wheel loaders with a Large BM attachment. The bucket holds 3,000 liters without extension and up to 3,500 liters with the extension. The high capacity allows operators to cover longer distances without stopping to refill – saving both time and fuel on larger jobs.
”With this bucket, we handle everything from properties and roads to railway platforms and tracks. The advantage of a large bucket like this is that you save a lot of time and don’t have to keep going back to collect more sand.” – Linus Stenlund, Machine Operator at Kaj Johanssons Åkeri
The SP3000 is built to spread sand, salt, and grit under varying conditions. Its robust construction, wear parts made of Hardox®, high-quality hydraulic components, and durable powder coating ensure long service life and reliable performance. The spreader is powered and controlled via the carrier’s hydraulic system and is designed for oil flows up to 120 l/min. The spreading rate is infinitely adjustable via a flow divider, and the rubber skirt pressure can easily be adjusted using a handle on the side.
Consistent Spreading with Full Control
The SP3000 can be equipped with Trejon’s Control Plus electric control system. This system automatically adjusts the spreading rate according to driving speed via a speed signal (DIN connection or external sensor), ensuring consistent results regardless of speed. All settings are conveniently managed from a control panel inside the cab – especially valuable for professional operation in urban environments.
”It doesn’t matter what speed you drive at – it spreads the same amount anyway. The result is more even spreading and lower material consumption.” – Linus Stenlund
All models are equipped with an agitator to prevent blockages when working with damp or icy materials. Two insert plates (40 cm and 60 cm) are included to reduce spreading width or create specific tracks. An optional bucket extension is also available, increasing capacity by an additional 500 liters.
